I create indoor and outdoor environments that set clients at ease, tailoring each session to their individual needs while also leaving room for spontaneity and surprise while shooting. The result is photographs that are both beautiful and honest.
The image on this page was taken while photographing musician Dan Rockett at the beach. I used his empty guitar case, his willingness to get his clothes wet, and his sense of adventure to take some shots of him in the water, shots that were ultimately used for his press materials, website and CD.
I use both 35mm and medium format cameras and use traditional and alternative processes in the dark room.
